Our smaller studio is approximately 400 sq. ft., has a wooden floor and is suitable for smaller movement workshops, small group work or one-on-one movement sessions that require more movement space than our small offices allow. The small studio is also suitable for yoga, chanting or other workshops where attendance is apx. 10 persons or fewer. A CD player, floor mats, chairs and blankets are also available.

Our Small Studio Space rental fee is based on a flat fee of $35.00 per hour, there is a maximum of 10 people allowed in the small studio space for an event. If more people, we will negotiate an hourly rate increase.
For a firm reservation in either studio we require you sign an agreement and pay a deposit. The deposit is typically half of your total rental agreement. The deposit is non-refundable if the event is cancelled less than 30 days before event date, otherwise, deposit will be refunded minus a $50.00 Administrative Fee.
We can hold a tentative reservation for you without a deposit and will call you if we get another request for the same time period. You would be required to commit at that time to the rental with a deposit and agreement. In the event that you cancel last minute - within 24 hours of your event -you are financially responsible for the total rental agreement amount.
Upon signing the agreement, you will also be required to sign a liability waiver. It is advised that you have your own comprehensive general liability insurance of not less than one million dollars per occurrence for bodily injury and property damage: to the named rent agent and or her agents as additional insured: to supply rent agent with copy and/or certificate of insurance prior to rental.

The Moving Body Resources Studio is located at 112 West 27th Street, 4th floor, in Manhattan between 6th and 7th Avenue. The general area is the Flower/Fashion District.

By Subway: The best subways are the N and R at 28th Street & Broadway, the 1 and 9 at 28th Street & 7th Avenue, and the F train at 23rd Street & 6th Avenue. We are also within walking distance from Penn Station at 34th Street & 8th Avenue.
By Bus: Downtown 7th Avenue bus line & Uptown 6th Avenue bus line, Crosstown 23rd Street bus line.
Parking: There is street parking after 6pm weekdays and all day and evenings on the weekends.
There are other lots along the numbered cross streets between Broadway and 7th Avenue.
The main entrance to the building is locked at all times. Your group will be responsible for either having someone downstairs at the main entrance to let people in, or for tending the buzzer near the elevator in the studio.
Business phones are available for limited use. Payment will be required for all toll calls made by the renting party.
There are two single occupancy unisex restrooms located at the back of the studio.
